With so many problems, where does a person begin? To fix a problem, you have to identify what the problem is. I say there are a large majority of politicians who are suppose to be the "voice of the people" sitting in the Senate and House of Representatives that don't have a clue as to what the people are saying because they are not listening. The majority of politicians that get voted in stop listening to the people about half-way into their first term. After that all they are concerned with is getting relelected. How do they get re-elected? They throw a bunch of dirt on their competition.
We need a way to list each and every person who holds a position in our federal government. Then, we start taking notes as to how long the person has held the seat and what kind of contributions have they made since being in office. Somehow, we the people should be provided with an accurate report card of every candidate at least 90 days prior to election day.
So how do we get this information? Are there public records that can be obtained onlione? In a public library? Where can we review the performance of each and every political figure of our government?
